About Us

The House of Sunshine is a 501(c)(3) status organization currently serving the Greater Austin area.  The organization primary goal is to decrease the amount of residents experiencing hunger.  The overall goal is to provide a place where those experiencing hunger can go inside and have relief from the current elements of the weather, sit and eat with some sense of everyday normalcy and receive back a little dignity from what they are currently experiencing.

We are hoping to open a food pantry to help those that are in a current need of groceries and have the additional resources to provide food to fill in the gaps of working check to check may cause.

The mission of our organization is simple: to provide the highest quality food and service while making a positive impact in the community we serve.  We believe that by offering exceptional meals and delivering unparalleled customer service, we can make a difference in the lives of the people our community friends.  But our mission doesn’t stop there.  We’re committed to provided whatever additional resources that may be needed including but not limited to information on food banks and pantry’s, housing services, laundry services etc.  Additionally we support many charitable organizations and community initiatives, both locally and varies other states, making a positive impact on the things that our underserved communities face daily.  We’re particularly proud of the collaboration with The House of Sunshine Transitional Living for Woman and Children.  We believe that everyone deserves to live a life free from violence and abuse, and we are honored to be a part of such an important cause.
