This vision was born in 2015 in Austin, TX with a desire to create a moment where people could simple have a home cooked meal that was served with a kind heart and friendly smile.  The House of Sunshine is an organization that serves a full course meal with multiple options to those that are experiencing hunger.  We don’t just offer food we offer a meal served with heartfelt kindness, prepared with genuine love and the desire to end hunger.  Every meal is made from scratch, served hot and a healthy helping in hopes that you can save some for later.  The staff is small but mighty and along with amazing volunteers we are able to serve many in a short period of time allowing those who wish to break bread together.
